The Climb to Conquer Cancer walk at A Mountain

This year the Tucson Rugby Club, including the Roosters, Blackbirds, and Magpies along with all our supporters and family will be partnering with Team Montoya in The Climb to Conquer Cancer walk at A Mountain.

The Walk is March 4th, which is the weekend of the USA 7’s in Las Vegas. For everyone going to Las Vegas, I’m jealous and have a great time! For everyone else, join Team Montoya for a great day of walking, music and BBQ. Not only is this a great cause, but we can continue to represent the Tucson Rugby Club in the Tucson Community. Let’s continue to show our community we are more than some teams that play rugby, we are a vast group of people that continue to make Tucson better.

Join the Team Continue the Fight!
This will be Team Montoya’s 5th year participating in the Climb to Conquer Cancer! The past four years we have gathered as a family to show support for Joe and honor all our loved ones who have had their own fight with cancer. This year we walk to honor and remember Joe, the amazing man, husband, father, son, tio, brother and best father-in-law a guy could ask for. Though this year will be very bitter sweet not having Joe by our side, we are going to make this year the biggest and best walk, exactly what Joe would have wanted!

I am excited to announce this year Team Montoya will be partnering with Tucson Rugby Club to make it our biggest turn out yet! So spread the word, sing up and join the team!

Why We Support the American Cancer Society
Our team’s participation supports the American Cancer Society, the leader in the fight to end cancer.  The donations our team raises will enable investments in groundbreaking cancer research and free information and services for people facing cancer. For more than a century, the American Cancer Society has led the way in the fight to end cancer – and we are excited to be part of their team
