Magpies Volunteer With Local Food Bank

On Saturday, December 27th members of the Tucson Rugby Club, friends and family came together to volunteer at the Tucson Community Food Bank.  Over the course of 4 hours the group was able to help unload nearly 15 tons of food, and package over 5 tons of meals for Tucson residents in need. The meal packages will provide food for 344 families during the month of January.  Unfortunately food insecurity is an ongoing issue throughout Tucson, so the Tucson Rugby Club plans to make this volunteer effort a regular club activity.
